FrankenPrius, the first stretch limo version of the Prius, was actually cobbled together from the remains of two wrecked Prii (the plural of Prius, naturally). The stretched Prius is a surprisingly successful vehicle, with its roof design lending itself well, both aesthetically and practically due its arched roof, which will probably perform better in an accident like a flat-roofed stretch vehicle like a Hummer limo or the Lincoln Town Car. It's the only Prius in the world that seats six. Also, because of its increased weight, this Prius limo rental may have measurably better efficiency in the regenerative braking by generating much more kinetic energy when it pulls to a stop. It also looks way cool, and is one of the greenest ways to rent a limo around. I mean, how could you go wrong? I just wonder if FrankenPrius portends a trend of more green limo rental choices, and an even wider range of ways to rent a limo as we motor into the future. You can already rent a WiFi enabled limo rental through major car rental agencies, and some cars now feature Nav systems, and have had extensive, state-of-the-art entertainment systems for years now. What the future holds remains a tantalizing menu of possibilities.
